How to Update 40E360 & 40E58 - Step by Step Procedure
Updating your TV software comes so handy and don't require technical background. All you need to do is to follow our step by step DIY instruction on how to update 40E360 and or 40E58 Skyworth LED Smart TV and everything's gonna be fine.
What are the tools you need?
You need an atleast 512MB empty FAT32 formatted flash disk. And a software of Skyworth Smart LED 40E360 & 40E58 TV which comes available to download at Skyworth Philippines Service Center Official Website.
What to do?
2. Copy the file on your USB flash Disk Drive (Make sure Flask Disk Drive is empty)
3. Insert USB Flask Drive to USB 1 port.
4. Insert the USB Wi-Fi dongle on USB 2 port.
5. Unplug the TV from electric outlet.
6. Hold the menu button
7. Plug the TV to power source and wait until update start to load
8. Do not interrupt the update till it's done.

How long do I have to press and hold on the menu button for something to happen? Should I switch on the tv instead? Help please! My unit is an E360. thanks
@Andee, What you did is correct, but you have to plug in the TV into the power source while holding the menu button.

Works excellent! Guys, just follow the directions. Hold the menu button before plugging the tv.
ReplyDeleteDon't turn on the power. Your screen will turn on after a few seconds and just like the image above, it will automatically update and will be finished within 30 seconds.
I finally fixed their wi-fi issues.

is upgrading the software has no limit?like you can update it when the update is availlable as long as you want?there is no such memory full issues?
