End of Blu-ray and DVD player Era

Not so soon enough, Blu-ray and DVD player will not be seen in the market. Like the late VHS and Beta-max, Blu-ray and DVD player becomes just a part of the electronic and appliances history.

Panasonic electronics Japanese giants, said that company closes its Blu-ray and DVD player plant in Slovakia. It is the result of decline in sales.

The Panasonic Electronics Krompachy factory also shut off this winter. It said the unit's sales volume has decreases by more than half over its last five years and expects that to continuously falling.

Online video streaming services like Netflix and the introduction of tablets and large smartphones causes this.
