Canon Pixma P200 Printer Review - Print Copy Scan

Canon Pixma P200 Printer is an affordable All-in-one with low-priced Ink cartridges set of Canon's new printer model. It featuring 4 colors, hybrid ink system, auto power on, quiet mode, scan of 600x1200dpi, and my image garden. To use and run the printer smoothly, a minimum system requirements has been set.

For windows users (Windows 8, 7, 7 SP1, Vista SP1, Vista SP2, XP SP3 either 32 or 64 bit ), it requires a .NET Framework 4 or 4.5. Further, a browser version of internet explorer 8 or higher and a display at least XGA at 1024 x 768 resolution. And lastly, a Hi-Speed USB port.

For Mac OS users, Canon Pixma P200 Pixma Printer comes compatible and work with Mac OS X v10.6.8. To read the read me file or it's manuals and other documents, a safari 5 or higher is also needed. Also, a hi-speed USB port is needed.

However, Canon Pixma P200 Pixma Printer only supports Windows RT operating system for mobile devices or handsets. Android user's and iOS fanatic handset is not supported yet but were looking forward for there update.

Ink cartridges compatibility

The Pixma Printer Canon P200 comes compatible with a sets of ink cartridges, standard cartridge and high capacity canon cartridge. A black color canon cartridge comes with a code name 705 a standard cartridge, while colored ink cartridge is 706 (standard).  While a high capacity ink cartridges for Canon Pixma P200 printer introduces with model name 705XL for black and 706XL for colored inks.

Canon Pixma P200 Design and Performance

Printer come available in white color with smooth finish and glossy design. Unlike it's black variant of E510 Canon Pixma model looks like, this new printer is made more sophisticated, and compact  design. On it's top a flat bed scanner lid engrave Pixma logo lays and beside is a printer paper feeder. Further, operation is not that complex it's because, all the bottom you need is visible on printers top portion. It include, power button, black ink indicator, color ink indicator, stop button, button for photo copying black and colored.

Rip off the box seals and a main unit will great you with it's respective accessories and read me files. This includes; printer, power cord, Fine standard cartridges both black and colored, setup CD-ROM, USB Cable, Manuals and other contents.

Reminders

Operation can only be guaranteed on a PC with pre-installed Windows 8, Windows 7, Vista or XP. Installation requires internet connection or CD-ROM drive. Further, some functions may not be available with these operating systems.

Canon Pixma P200 Safety and Important Information

The important notice and the safety precautions that you should know are describe as the following.  With on screen manual which become available after installation of setup CD is completed. It provides basic operation of the product and its specifications, system requirements, maintenance tips, regulatory, environment, safety and other need to know information.

For PC Users, on screen manual and other online manual will be displayed from Quick Menu available after the software is being installed. Quick Menu is a portal for Canon inkjet Printers.

For Smartphones and tablet users, online manual is available.

Canon Pixma P200 Health Concern

Canon Pixma P200 emits low level magnetic flux. If you use a cardiac pacemaker and feel abnormalities, please move away from this product and consult your doctor.

Also keep in mind that ignorance of following avoidable acts may lead to fire or electrical shock.

・ Placing Canon Pixma P200 close to the flammable solvents such as alcohol or thinner.

・ Use of power cord and / or cable other than the one supplied

・ Plugging in the power cord to voltages other than specified

・ Plugging the power cord incompletely such as half the way.

・ Plugging in and unplugging the power cord with wet hands.

・ Use of damaged cords caused by pulling, twisting, typing or excessively bending.

・ Placing heavy objects on the cord.

・ Using bundled or knotted power cord.

・ Connecting excessive numbers of plugs into one electrical outlet. Using multiple extension cords

・ leaving power cord plugged in while lightning

・ Plugging in the cables and power cord during cleaning. Using flammable spray or liquids such as alcohol or thinner for cleaning. Wipe it with a soft dry cloth instead.

・ Taking apart or modifying the product and accessories.

 Unplug the power cord once a month to see if power cord or plug shows anything unusual such as heat, rust, bent, scratch, split, and so on. And if you hear unusual noises, see smoke, feel excessive heat, smell anything unusual, drop metallic part or spill liquid into the product, immediately unplug the power cord and call for service. Continued Canon Pixma P200 usage may result in fire or electrical shock.
