The best kind of beauty is when one cares for our environments. Here are some tips to help get you beautiful without harming Mother Earth.

Don't put beauty products in extra packaging.

Carry your purchased products inside your bag, without slipping it in  a paper or plastic shopping bag. That's less packaging that will end up in our already overflowing trash dumps

Reuse beauty containers.

Beautiful glass bottles of perfume make wonderful decorative pieces, and even the pretty boxes that once contained powder compacts or bath sets can be used to store knickknacks.

Save every drop of water

Don't leave the water running when you're washing your face or scrubbing your body. Use a glass when brushing your teeth. You'll be surprised at how many you can save with this simple habit!

Shorten your blow-drying time.

Use an extra absorbent towel to wrap your hair in, or choose to air-dry your locks for as long as possible. Not only will you save your hair from damaged caused by the blow-dryer, you save electricity as well

Find a beaut y products that keeps on giving.

Consider purchasing from stores with adopted causes that save the environment, or brand that work with communities that provide raw materials in a sustainable manner.

Less is more.

Just like the ingredient list of overly processed food, be wary of beauty products whose ingredients are unknown to you. Most likely, these products are based on chemical ingredients.

Recycle all that you can.

Don't throw away empty bottles of shampoo, lotion, and the like. Collect and sell them at a junk shop; see how much you can earn from discarding your trash properly.

Buy big and small.

Buy the biggest size of your favorite products say your perfume or lotion and refill small containers. That way, you save money and packaging from buying the small sizes all the time.
